The course is aimed at a wide audience, from new graduates in the ICT sector who immediately want to expand their knowledge, to graduates who want to specialize their education, to professionals who work for themselves or are employed in companies in any sector, already working in the area of ICT infrastructure design and management or software development and who want to update and expand their skills with elements of cyber security. As a legal requirement, participants must have a minimum of a three-year degree, not necessarily in the ICT sector. During the selection phase, the panel will also make sure that the candidates have the basic knowledge required to successfully follow the training program.
Three-year Bachelor’s degree in accordance with Italian Ministerial Decree 270/04 in the following classes: L-8 Information Engineering and L-31 Information Technology and Science, or a Bachelor’s degree in an equivalent discipline, where relevant in accordance with previously applicable regulations (Ministerial Decree 509/99 and old university regulations).
Two-year Master’s degree and combined Bachelor’s and Master’s degree (single cycle) in accordance with Ministerial Decree 270/04 in the following classes: LM-18 Information Technology, LM-25 Automation Engineering, LM-26 Security Engineering, LM-27 Telecommunications Engineering, LM-28 Electrical Engineering, LM-29 Electronic Engineering, LM-32 Information Technology Engineering and LM-66 Information Security, or a Master’s degree or combined Bachelor’s and Master’s degree (single cycle) in an equivalent discipline, where relevant in accordance with previously applicable regulations (Ministerial Decree 509/99 and old university regulations).
Subject to a positive evaluation by the Examination Board, candidates that hold other science degrees can be admitted to the selection process, providing that their CV includes qualified skills in the subjects covered by the Master’s.
Basic knowledge in operating systems, computer networks, and programming languages C and Java is requested, which is implicitly assumed where candidates have passed the corresponding exams. In the absence of this, the candidate’s skills will be assessed during the interview.
Admission to the Master’s is subject to a positive assessment based on qualifications and through an interview process.
