Giulio Ecchia

Giulio Ecchia

Full Professor at UNIBO and MIEX Local Director

In addition to being Professor of Economics, Prof. Ecchia is the MIEX Local Director at the University of Bologna and Course Coordinator of Industrial Economics. 

He received his M. Phil in Economics from the University of Oxford (UK); his P.h.D. in Economics from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Italy); and his B.S. in Economics from the University of Bologna (Italy).

He is the author of several articles and co-author of others, including: “Markets, Strategies and Institutions: an Introduction to Microeconomics” (2002) and “Choice, Markets and Equilibrium” co-author (1996).

Filippo Boccali, Ph.D., is Adjunct Professor and Research Fellow at Department of Management at the University of Bologna. He is engaged in a project on the assessment of the financial impact of innovative industrial additive manufacturing production technologies. He teaches in several full time Masters or Executive programs at Bologna Business School, with a focus on cost management, performance management systems, business performance analytics, cost accounting and management control.

Francesco Ciabuschi

Francesco Ciabuschi

Professor of International Business at Uppsala

Prof. Ciabuschi teaches International Business at Uppsala University.

He received his P.h.D. from Uppsala University in International Business. He was a visiting scholar at INSEAD (France) and at Stanford University (USA).

Prof. Ciabuschi has been published in several international journals and in chapters in a number of anthologies. His research interests concern management of multinational corporations, top management behavior, knowledge development and transfer in multinational corporations, subsidiary evolution and innovation management.

Emilio Ferrari

Prof. Ferrari is a professor of Industrial Logistics in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Bologna. He was the dean of the Management Engineering School at the University of Bologna from 2001 to 2004 and Director of the DIEM Department of Industrial Engineering  and the Mechanical Engineering School at the University of Bologna from November 2006 to October 2009. He also was the Director of the Master degree program in Integrated logistics within the Faculty of Engineering in Bologna.

He co-authored “Maintenance for Industrial Systems”, Springer London Ltd (2009); “Logistica integrata e flessibile per i sistemi produttivi dell’industria e del terziario”, Esculapio (2004) and has published various papers  in professional journals.

Murad Harasheh

Murad Harasheh is a Senior Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Bologna-Italy and a research associate at Yunus Social Business Center of Bologna. He was awarded his Ph.D. in 2014 in Economics, Law, and Institutions from the school of advanced studies of Pavia (IUSS). In 2021, he obtained the Italian National Scientific Qualification (ASN) as a 2nd tier (Associate) Professor in “Economics of Financial Intermediaries and Corporate Finance.” Previously, he collaborated with the Italian Authority for Energy Regulations (ARERA) as an economist and energy markets analyst. His primary research interests are related to corporate finance, firm valuation, energy and commodity finance, and sustainability economics. He is the author of the book “Global Commodities: Physical, Financial, and Sustainability Aspects” and various publications in international journals in Finance, business valuation, and energy.

Angelo Manaresi (PhD, London Business School) is Full Professor of Marketing and Management, since 2001, at the Department of Management, School of Economics and Management, University of Bologna.

His research interests are Distribution Channel Management, International marketing and structural equation modelling.

Among international experiences: 2013-2021 Buenos Aires, Argentina, President, Fundacion Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna; 2010- 2016 Buenos Aires, Argentina, Director of the Campus of the University of Bologna: Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna – Representacion en la Republica Argentina, the only foreign university accredited from the Argentinian Ministry of Educacion; 2000-2007 Porto, Portugal, Faculty in the MBA program, professor of Business to Business Marketing; 1994-Human Capital and Mobility Fellow, IESE Business School, Barcelona; 1989-1993, PhD program, London Business School, UK. He also has experience as visiting professor at the Grenoble Ecole de Management in Grenoble and Paris. He served as Commissioner (Commissario Ad Acta), Parmalat spa, Italia (2013-2014) and he was member of the editorial committee of the journals Trade Marketing and Industria e Distribuzione from year 1996 to year 2004. From year 2004 to year 2010, and from year 2010 to year 2016 he was Director of the Bachelor Courses in “Economics and Marketing” and “Business and Economics”, School of Economics and Management, University of Bologna.

After obtaining his degree in aeronautical studies and his pilot license for fixed and rotary wing aircraft, has then continued his studies in law, earning a master's degree in International Trade and one in Benchmarking. From 2004 to 2014 he was a member of the international commission of Confindustria and in 2009 collaborated in the publishing of the book, “I mercati esteri in tasca”, a guide to foreign markets.

Since 1996, Christian has focused his research in the study of foreign markets and the organization of international sales networks, travelling all over the world gaining considerable experience in the Middle East, Russia, China, the US, South America, Australia and New Zealand.

Martina Onofri has been teaching Italian as a foreign language since she was a university student.

Her first students were her Chinese friends, in Venice and then in Nanjing.

After an experience as Chinese tourism market consultant, she has started to work as a cultural mediator and teach Italian as a second language to immigrants and asylum seekers, children and adults.

She is lecturer for MIEX Italian crash course since 2017.

Worked with the UN in China, provides technical assistance to an EU funded matchmaking programme bringing small and medium size companies together from Europe and China. In Roncucci&Partners is committed to the development of international projects designed at fostering the internationalisation of enterprises and institutions. Provides consulting services, such as market analysis, feasibility studies and business planning conceived for companies who need assistance in defining their strategies to approach foreign markets. Expertise acquired in Serbia, China, India and Brazil, Turkey and South-East Asia. He has been giving lectures in MIEX Programme since 2014.

Kamel Mnisri

Kamel Mnisri holds a PhD in Management Sciences and of equal importance is his international business experience at IBM.  His academic research places emphasis on the cross roads between leadership, creativity and business ethics. Prof. Mnisri is a cofounder of ARTEM Organizational Creativity and Sustainability Conference. He is also the MIEX Local Director at ICN Business School, in charge of the MIEX program there, and International Director for the whole MIEX consortium between universities
