Renato Seracchioli is Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Bologna. He graduated in Medicine and specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Bologna.
Originally he was involved in assisted reproduction, through several internships at major European centers and he was involved in the organization of the Center for Assisted Reproduction of the Policlinico S. Orsola.
Since 1991 his main field of interest was gynecological endoscopy (laparoscopy and hysteroscopy) and he performed more than 4500 operations, introducing at the Policlinico S. Orsola new techniques of minimally invasive surgery in the field of endometriosis and oncology.
He is Director of U.O. Gynecology and Reproductive Pathophysiology of the Policlinico S. Orsola-Malpighi of Bologna from November the 1st 2014.
He is author of over 250 publications, including more than 135 scientific papers published in peer-reviewed journals surveyed by MEDLINE (IF total of more than 250).
Since 1997 he taught "Endoscopic surgical techniques" and "Laparoscopic surgical therapy" at the postgraduate school of Gynecology and Obstetrics of Bologna and since 2000 Prof. R. Seracchioli organized many workshops about gynecological laparoscopy and hysteroscopic surgical techniques at the Policlinico S. Orsola.
Prof. R. Seracchioli is member of the Editorial Boards of several journals including “Journal of Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Disorders” and “Rivista Italiana di Ostetricia e Ginecologia”.
From 2001 to 2007 he joined the Executive Council SEGI as Head of the External Relations Commission.
Since 2010 he is Member of the Faculty of the International School of Surgical Anatomy. Since 2012 he is a Member of the Scientific Committee of the AIE (Associazione Italiana Endometriosi).
In 2013 he was Member of the International Editorial Board of Ibima Publishing, USA.
In 2014 is Leads editor of the special issue on Endometriosis: novel Models, Diagnosis, and Treatment in BioMed Research International. In 2008 he won the Charles Romanini Award with the article entitled "Long-Term Postoperative Oral Contraceptive Therapy and Ovarian Endometrioma Recurrence. A Randomized Controlled Trial" presented to Congress AAGL Las Vegas.

"After graduation at the University of Catania, my interest and devotion to Gynecologic Oncology was already clear and that’s why I decided to follow Professor Roberto Angioli, who had a huge expertise in the field and move to Campus-Biomedico University of Rome to do my residency. During my last year of residency, under my professor’s guidance, I got the USMLE steps and interviewed for a 2 years position as international fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, where I was accepted.
I finished my residency in 2015 with top grades and after that I spent the following year dedicating myself to research at Campus Biomedico University.
On June 2016 I started my 2-years fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology.
As fellow in gynecologic oncology, I am dedicated to improve the lives of women with gynecologic cancers. These include ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, cervical cancer, and vulvar cancer. I am also committed to developing better ways to screen for and prevent gynecologic cancers in women who are at higher risk for these diseases.
I am interested in research and I am author of several papers on peer-reviewed journals and I have been surgeon in more than 300 gyn onc cases."

Prof. Caterina Exacoustos was born in Rome, Italy, from German father and Italian mother and has greek grand-grand father. She is an associate Professor of Ob/Gyn at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy. She received her medical degree at the Catholic University of Rome in 1984 and completed in 1989 the Ob/Gyn residency and then a fellowship in obstetric and gynecological ultrasound in the same university. During that time her clinical and research interest was mostly on perinatal medicine and she had several important publications in this field. She has been attached since 1993 to the University of Rome ‘Tor Vergata’ in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology initially as research fellow then as researcher and now as associate professor. Since 1993 working with endoscopic surgical teams she test the advantages of the use of transvaginal ultrasound as presurgical diagnostic tool and for an accurate management of gynecological diseases. Actually her main areas of interest are endometriosis and benign diseases including uterine pathology and infertility. She has published more than 120 scientific articlesof these 82 peer reviewedand more than 10 book chapters both in English and in Italian. She has been invited to numerous scientific meetings and conferences of gynecological pathology as speaker in Europe and USA. She has extensive experience in gynecologic ultrasound together with a long history in training activities in several ultrasound courses. She spends also in 2010 a sabbatical year in US at theUniversity of Connecticut as invited professor teaching 3D transvaginal ultrasound.

Michael Kamrava, MD graduated with high honors in physiology from University of Illinois, USA. Received high honors in endocrine rotation at Case medical school and graduated in 1976. After finishing residency in OB/GYN at Mt Sinai Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio, I completed fellowship at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston in 1982. Pioneered new and innovative treatments in endocrine and infertility treatments to improve reproductive outcomes and make them safer for people everywhere. These include the use of subcutaneous pulsatile GnRH, extended embryo culture using BOEC. I also performed the first human embryo implantation using a targeted embryo delivery or SEED with resultant singleton live and healthy delivery. His clinical and research interests are oriented to the minimally invasive approaches to gynecological disorders with interests in surgical education and training as well as the problem of abnormal uterine bleeding including investigation, medical and procedural interventions. He was a founding co-chair of the FIGO Menstrual Disorders Committee that has been responsible for the development and publication of the FIGO Nomenclature and Classification Systems for causes of abnormal bleeding in the reproductive years that has been created to facilitate the design and interpretation of related clinical trials. He was also the study chair of STOP-DUB, a US federally funded multicenter randomized clinical trial comparing hysterectomy to endometrial ablation that, to date is the largest of its kind. Another research interest is energy based-surgical devices, an area that has been the subject of his bench research for which he is known nationally. He has published more than 100 papers, 26 chapters, and four books including Abnormal Uterine Bleeding, released by Cambridge University Press in 2010. Dr Munro is also on the editorial board for the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology, and an Editor for the Journal of Midlife Women’s Health and the Journal of Endometriosis and Chronic Pelvic Pain. Mr. Denis Tsepov graduated from St. Petersburg State Medical University in Russia in 1997 and completed postgraduate specialist training in the United Kingdom. Mr. Tsepov is a member of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of the United Kingdom (RCOG) and British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) and currently works as a Consultant Gynaecologist and Minimal Access Surgeon, leading one of the National Specialist Centres for Endometriosis in Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth.
At the Harley Street Clinic in London Mr. Tsepov has established and is currently leading a Multidisciplinary Endometriosis Clinic which offers full range of investigations, treatment, and post treatment support for patients with severe endometriosis and complex gynaecological surgical problems. His work involves complex gynaecological (laparoscopic and micro-laparoscopic) surgery, together with designated colorectal and urology surgeons.
Mr. Tsepov is a passionate supporter of preventive and evidence-based medicine. His other areas of expertise include diagnosis and treatment of pelvic pain syndrome, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, menstrual disorders, ambulatory hysteroscopy. Nadine is the lead of the endometriosis service at QA and the lead for complex benign surgery.
She has also been appointed as senior council member of the British Society Gynaecology Endoscopy (BSGE). This is a very important role which will allow Portsmouth to be known nationally and internationally and participating in updating guidelines and helping in maintaining the highest level of care.
She has an excellent academic record with strong independent research skills resulting in peer-reviewed published work. She has published numerous articles in endometriosis and benign gynaecology. She is member of the British Society Gynaecology Endoscopy and invited faculty at several national and international conferences.
