STAGE
The Stage of the Master will be defined with the individual participants. They can be performed at the Endodontics Department of the Dental Clinic or in other facilities and clinics, depending on the skills and needs of the partecipant. The purpose of the internship is to create capable endodontists, opinion leaders in the sector and with excellent clinical technical skills.
The departmental activity within the university Dental Clinic presents several procedures, from diagnosis and endodontic and post-endodontic treatment with manual and rotating instruments, up to prosthetic rehabilitation. Clinical cases of the Dental Clinic will be discussed during the weekly and monthly (evening) workshops.
The procedures will be performed by the partecipant with the help and assistance of the Clinical Tutors. The tutors provide teaching support and help in the preparation of clinical cases, besides practicing direct clinical activity.
Endodontic surgery techniques, endodontic microscopy, prosthetic rehabilitation of the endodontically treated tooth, as well as pulp regeneration techniques and implant rehabilitation will be used in team. Post-endodontic prosthetic rehabilitation will be performed with digital techniques.
The Department of Endodontics treats 12-15 patients daily for all the endodontic and conservative procedures related to the post-endodontic rehabilitation of the patient.
The Department activities start at 8.45am and continue until 1.00pm (Monday-Tuesday).
The internship is a moment of life in Team in the Endodontics department of the dental clinic - DIBINEM. Each participant in the internship will have the opportunity to directly follow and treat a series of patients, from simple cases to the most complex.
