BattEco Master's program aims to address the challenge outlined by the European Green Deal and the EU Strategic Action Plan on Batteries: the creation of a competitive, sustainable, and innovative battery ecosystem through the development of highly specialized skills in the sector.
The program is designed to train new professional profiles with inter- and multidisciplinary knowledge, ranging from materials science and production processes for batteries—particularly lithium batteries—to the evaluation of sustainability in both manufacturing and end-of-life management, diagnostic techniques for assessing system performance, and eco-design principles (with a specific focus on safe and sustainable by design) as well as “design for recycling.”
