The TESI-TN Master (Training and Education in Social Innovation – TransNational Joint Master Programme), co-funded by the European Union through Interreg IPA ADRION, continues its journey across the ADRION region with its Launch Event in Serbia, hosted by the Faculty of Philosophy – University of Belgrade.
On September 5th, at Klub Plato, the event will bring together academia, EU and national institutions, the NGO sector and social enterprises to present the Joint Master's Programme and open a dialogue on the future of social innovation in Serbia.
The day will open with institutional greetings from Prof. Nataša Simić, Vice Dean for Research at the Faculty of Philosophy, Kristina Ašković, Head of the Section for Cross-Border and Transnational Cooperation Programmes with EU Member States at the Ministry of European Integration, and Rihard Maša, Head of Operations II at the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia — followed by the presentation of the TESI Joint Master Programme by Prof. Milica Vesković Anđelković, Local Coordinator, and Prof. Vera Backović, member of the Advisory Board.
The morning session will explore social innovation from an academic perspective with Prof. Slobodan Cvejić and Ass. Prof. Irena Petrović, before turning to the role of the NGO sector in Serbia with contributions from Miodrag Nedeljković (Initiative for Development and Cooperation), Miodrag Shrestha (Coalition for Solidarity Economy Development), Marina Kovačević (Center for Rehabilitation through Imagination), Lazar Tasić (Smart kolektiv) and Aleksandra Šijan (Center for Youth Integration).
In the afternoon, the spotlight moves to good practice, with concrete examples of social enterprises shared by Katarina Ejdus (Woman on the Way), Anica Spasov (Naša Kuća) and Miroljub Nikolić (Caritas), followed by an open discussion before the closing.
