TESI-TN offers 25 places open exclusively to candidates from the countries and regions of the Adriatic-Ionian macro-region:
Italy — Emilia-Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Lombardia, Trentino Alto Adige, Marche, Abruzzo, Molise, Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria, Sicilia
Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, North Macedonia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovenia

Candidates must meet the following requirements at the time of enrolment:
Second cycle degree / Master's degree (Bologna Process)
English language proficiency — self-certification at Level B1 or above
For applicants who obtained their degree outside Italy:
A "Declaration of Value" for the academic qualification is required, along with an officially translated and legalised academic transcript. Translation is not required for qualifications and certificates already in English.
For qualifications awarded by institutions in the European Higher Education Area (Bologna Process), the Declaration of Value may be replaced by a Diploma Supplement, issued by the relevant university in accordance with the European Commission form.
Candidates who have not yet obtained the required qualification at the time of application must do so before the enrollment deadline.
Admission is subject to a selection process based on the evaluation of qualifications and motivation letters. Candidates are ranked according to:
Curriculum vitae — consistency and relevance of academic and professional background with the Master's themes, in particular social innovation
Motivation letter — clarity of purpose and alignment with the programme's goals
English language proficiency
Admission is granted to eligible candidates within the limits of available places, based on the final ranking established by the Scientific Board.
Participation in TESI-TN is completely free of charge. The programme is fully funded by the European Union through the IPA-ADRION initiative.
Subscription fees will be reimbursed to all selected students
The programme covers travel, accommodation, and meals for each of the 8 in-person training sessions held in Bologna
The international internship (15 days) is also fully funded
