Aims

The aim of the Master is to train experienced surgeons in the management of the pediatric patient suffering from malformative and acquired urogenital pathology.

The II level Master in Pediatric Urology: contemporary strategies from fetal life to adolescence, promoted by the Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences of the University of Bologna, offers a training course aimed at the acquisition and refinement of clinical and surgical skills in management and in the treatment of pediatric urological and genital malformation pathology, with particular reference to reconstructive and demolition traditional techniques, minimally invasive and robotic. 

The objective is to train surgeons experienced in the management of uro-genital diseases (prenatal diagnosis, clinical diagnosis, traditional and minimally invasive surgical treatment) in the pediatric patient.

The Master, at its seventh edition for the academic year 2023/2024, is directed by Mario Lima, Full Professor of Pediatric and Child Surgery and Director of the School of Specialization in Pediatric Surgery.
