COMPANY VISITS

A company visit is an excellent opportunity to learn about a company and to experience its vision firsthand. Beyond a simple tour, students can learn relevant information by interacting directly with employees. In the past, DTFC Masters students had the opportunity to visit several companies, including the corporate archives and museums of Gucci, Armani, Ferragamo and Gianfranco Ferré.

PARTNERSHIP WITH COMPANIES AND ARCHIVES

The DTFC Master strives to update its training offer in line with the needs of the fashion system, coming into direct contact with its excellence.

ANALYZING BUSINESS CASES: Students on the 3rd and 4th edition had the opportunity to get up close to the Woolrich business case. This brand has written the history of outdoor clothing with timeless products that have always been synonymous with technological innovation and quality. The partnership included meetings with company representatives and the joint organisation of a workshop. The aim was to ensure that the study programme aligned with the market needs.

EXHIBITING FASHION ARCHIVES: The exhibitions designed by the DTFC Master's students during the "Out of the Archives" workshop aim to stage the fashion archive through paths in which the present and the past enter into dialogue and encourage reflection on the heritage. Indeed, the archive is seen as both a place of preservation and a space capable of generating new ideas for creating future fashion collections. In this way, these fashion exhibitions become a pretext for narrating a new approach to design. The workshop was developed in partnership with the Archivi di Ricerca Mazzini and the Textile Design Archive of the F.FRI. It also involved corporate archives such as Woolrich and the Aeffe Group.

The Master's lessons will take place in the multimedia classrooms of F.FRI, founded in Bologna in 2015 by Cav. Alberto Masotti with the aim of enhancing the cultural heritage of Italian fashion and supporting the sector's manufacturers on their evolutionary path towards Industry 4.0.
